This document explains how TIAA Deals works end–to–end: from buying and selling terms, exchange process, walk–in and reservation rules, and payment modes, to logistics partners, device–condition grading, privacy practices, and seller verification & payout timelines. It is designed so that both buyers and sellers know exactly what to expect before any money or device changes hands.
NOTE:
These terms apply to all transactions conducted through TIAA Deals, including buying, selling, exchange offers, reservations, in–person pickups and any related services offered via our online channels or office.

Blue Dart is our official and primary logistics partner. All eligible parcels are booked via their air-express network for maximum speed and reliability.
If Blue Dart coverage is unavailable, we route through Delhivery or DTDC to ensure the best coverage for your specific pincode.

Instant Delivery

Liability Disclaimer
Once the sealed parcel is handed over to the rider/driver as per your instructions, the responsibility lies entirely with the buyer. TIAA Deals is not liable for loss or damage after handover.

Buying Terms
Strict rules for fair engagement. Read before executing transaction.
01. Confirm First
Order is considered booked only after official confirmation on WhatsApp/DM.
02. No Cancel
Cancellations after dispatch are strictly not allowed. 10% fee applies for pre-dispatch cancel.
03. Unboxing Video
Full, unedited unboxing video is mandatory for any support or claim. No video = No support.
Order Confirmation
Send a message to 98188 85808 to receive official confirmation. Do not pay before confirmation.
Time-Bound Payments
If payment is not made within the allotted time frame, the deal will automatically pass to the next buyer.
Mismatch & Refund
100% refund issued if there are discrepancies or false promises in the product description compared to received product (verified via unboxing video).
Warranty Support
We assist in raising claims for under-warranty products as per brand/service-center policies.
Bill / Invoice Responsibility
Request the bill immediately. We are not responsible for providing bills long after transaction completion. Retrieving old bills is not guaranteed.
CRITICAL REMINDER
Always keep proof of payment and the complete unboxing video safely stored until you are fully satisfied with the product.

Selling Terms
Seller-friendly but secure. Genuine devices only.
₹1,000 Token
Small upfront amount to lock the deal and avoid last-minute no-shows. Fully refundable with payout.
QC Before Payout
Device is thoroughly tested at TIAA office before final payment release.
100% Honest
Full, honest disclosure of device condition avoids any payout issues or disputes.
Upfront Token Amount
Upon confirmation, seller pays INR 1,000. This ensures the deal is finalized and allows us to allocate funds for the purchase.
Refund of Token
The INR 1,000 token is fully refunded along with the product's sale price immediately after successful delivery and checks.
Inspection & QA
Detailed video inspection and hardware testing at TIAA office. Payment initiated once product matches description.
Non-Refundable Token
Token is forfeited if seller refuses to ship after confirmation or unreasonably delays shipping.

SELLER ADVISORY
Transparency ensures a smoother transaction. Clearly mention even minor details upfront.
Shipping Protocols
Sender Responsibility
The sender (seller) is responsible for any lost parcels during shipping. Choose a reliable partner, use proper packing material, and always shield your tracking ID.
TIAA Arranged Pickup
If TIAA arranges pickup: Seller still bears courier charges and sole packaging responsibility. TIAA's role is limited to facilitating the pickup.

Share Details
Send photos & details: Model, Storage, Condition, Accessories, Warranty Status.
Valuation
Lock & Confirm
Pay the difference amount. Confirm your shipping address and contact number.
Cross-Shipping
We ship Device A. You ship Device B (with proper packing & unboxing video).
QC & Close
We check Device B. If it matches description, deal closed. Discrepancies may require payout revision.
TIP: Transparency
Always share honest details and clear photos. A transparent description gets the best valuation and prevents QC issues.
Revisions Policy
If actual condition differs significantly (major dents, display issues), TIAA reserves the right to revise valuation or cancel/return the device (adjusting shipping).

Verification &
Payment Release
Secure workflow protecting both seller and platform. Gov ID required.
1. One-Time Verification
Valid Government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, DL, Passport) required before payment release.
2. QC Process
Device logged & tested within ~24 hours of receipt.
- Hardware functions (Display, Buttons, Mic, etc.)
- Physical Condition (Dents, Scratches)
- Undisclosed Issues check
3. Payment Timeline
Payout initiated ASAP after QC & ID verification.
Discrepancies During QC
If condition differs significantly from declaration (major damage, missing parts), we may revise the payout amount or return the device (adjusting shipping) after communicating with you.
Security Alert
TIAA Deals will NEVER ask for UPI PIN, Card PIN, OTP, or Net Banking Password. We only need account details + Gov ID.

Walk-In Policy
& Reservations
By appointment only. Reserve online, verify in person.
Reservation Workflow
1. Select & Contact
DM us mentioning the exact post/device you wish to reserve.
2. Pay Token
Pay a small token amount to confirm interest. Details shared via chat.
3. Item on Hold
We block the item in our system. It will not be sold to anyone else during your window.
4. Schedule Visit
We share the address and a specific time slot for your visit.
5. Verify & Complete
Visit, inspect the device, pay the balance, and collect it with the bill.
Why Reservations?
Our products sell out quickly online. This system prevents double-bookings and ensures we are ready for you when you arrive, saving everyone time.
Critical Guidelines
- No-Show Policy: Token may be forfeited if you cancel last-minute or don't show up without prior notice.
- Rescheduling: Inform us in advance, and we will try to find a new slot via chat.
- No Walk-Ins: Visits without a confirmed reservation slot may not be entertained.
